Supporting parents and teens with clarity, compassion, and proven tools to navigate big emotions and real-life challenges.

I’m a licensed therapist, mom, and teen specialist with more than a decade of experience supporting teens, young adults, and the parents who love them through some of the toughest emotional terrain.
My work has taken me into homes during family reunification, into residential programs with high acuity adolescents, and into fully adherent DBT practice treating everything from self harm and eating disorders to intense emotional dysregulation across both adolescence and young adulthood.
Those years shaped the heart of what I do now. I blend DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, mindfulness, and experiential work into warm, honest, conversational sessions. I work directly with teens and young adults, and I also support parents by teaching the same evidence based skills I’ve spent years using clinically to help families build steadiness, understanding, and real change.
And as a mom myself, I understand what it means to want a calmer home, a stronger connection, and a path forward that actually feels doable in real life.
My approach is simple.
Teens and young adults don’t need to be fixed. They need to feel understood and supported while learning skills that help them manage big emotions and real life challenges.
Parents don’t need perfection. They need perspective, practical tools, and a space where they feel grounded and supported as they navigate complex family dynamics.
Whether I’m working directly with a teen or young adult, or supporting a parent who wants to change the dynamic at home, the goal is the same. To build emotional safety, strengthen connection, and create change that actually feels doable in real life.
To help parents and teens feel seen, supported, and empowered, without judgment, pressure, or unrealistic expectations.
At TherapyWise, I incorporate DBT, mindfulness, and practical skill-building into warm, honest conversations that help you:
